Red, White & Effortless
I’ve written numerous times about trying to lean more into quality pieces and less into fast fashion, but my sister reminded me that it’s fast fashion in part because people buy inexpensive, trendy pieces they wear a couple of times and then get rid of them and that if you actually keep the pieces in your closet, it isn’t really buying into the fast fashion world. This dress is a great example. It’s extremely inexpensive, comfortable, light and breathable and has pockets! I love it both with and without a belt. I got it last summer for the 4th of July and wore it again for a Memorial Day get together this year and cherry picking. It also comes in a blue stripe I’m tempted to purchase. A great summer dress, in a classic cut and print that I know I’ll wear for years!
